Tougher on weeds. Easier on the environment.
We’re committed to making the sustainability of our products as important as the performance of our products, beginning with their environmental EVO-Twist. Nylon is known for taking hundreds of years to break down (trimmer line is made of nylon). Now, we’re slashing that time dramatically to 30x faster than conventional trimmer line.* It isn't 100% biodegradable, but we are working towards getting as close to this as we can.
Purchase NowThe benefits are clear
*When disposed of in an anaerobic landfill environment, the amount of degradation is dramatically increased as compared to conventional trimmer line. Within one year it could biodegrade 24% compared to less than 1% with conventional trimmer line per ASTM D5511 testing method, making it more environmentally friendly. Anaerobic landfills may not exist in your area. Note that the stated rate and extent of degradation do not mean the product will continue to decompose. Trimmer line remnants left in the yard may not necessarily experience this same level of biodegradation. The results of these tests are still pending. Bring our innovation into your own backyard
We’ve used our commitment to research and key learnings over the decades to get us where we are now: a new, more environmentally responsible* proprietary blend of materials that makes this unique trimmer line possible. Specifically designed for extra-strength durability while in use or in storage, so it won’t break down prematurely, we see this next chapter in innovative trimmer line as just the beginning of a sustainable future for more of our products.
